烈日冬晨，重簾未捲陽光透。
睡眠足夠，慵整衣衫扣。
窗外無雲，樹静梅花秀。
家獨候，客人來否？把酒齊懷舊!

A sleepless night
It is a cold night
The sky is so bright
Up there sits a full moon
It looks like a white balloon
It is quiet outside my window
I can see a dark shadow
Under the tall tree something is moving
It looks like s possum is clawing
It is close to midnight
The radio jockey just say goodnight
No one should be around by this time
Unless someone commits a crime
Being alone is miserable
Life is unpredictable
It may be another sleepless night
I try to find something to write!

White orchid
The white orchid in my backyard is blooming again this winter
There are five stems in one pot altogether
Two of them have flowers opened slowly
The other three are still with buds closed tightly
The flowers are so pure, tough and hardy
Look like a beautiful gracious lady
The plant has experienced many years of bad storm and heat wave
However it still stands healthy and alive
I hope we can be the same
Live long with a good name
No matter how hard the situation we need to face
We can stay strong and brave

Pandemic
The spreading of Coronavirus is scary
It's infection rate makes everyone worry
Sydney is in lockdown
No one is allowed to go out of town
Face mask is made mandatory
Hand wash is better with sanitary
Restriction rules must be met
As penalty has been set
The government is urging everyone to receive vaccination
They aim to cover the whole nation
This pandemic hits us over a year
No more bad news we want to hear
Hope all of us stay at home longer
To avoid the virus pass on forever
