Outside my kitchen
window
I saw a beautiful
shadow
It was a colourful
parrot
Standing in front
of the pot
Less than a minute
later
Came with his
pretty partner
They were kissing
each other
Patiently waiting
for a feeder
I was sorry to
ignore them
Although they
looked like a gem
If I fed them with
some food
My place would
become no good
The dirt they left
behind
Might cause
disease to mankind
Bird flu is a
threat to human
Virus passed from bird
is common
After staying for
sometime
Nothing was
offered by me
They flew away
disappointedly
I knew I acted hard-heartedly
